                  Whale without a Tail?

In Kaikoura A humpback whale has a missing tail. the whale was about 2 or 3-years-old.

Department of conservation Ranger Mike Morrissey went out on a boat on monday to try to find the whale. Despite the injury the whale can still swim well.

the whales tail could be a result of it getting tangled up in a rope however would be impossible to determine the cause of the whales injury.
